EASTON, MARYLAND — Comments in a box still matter. Showing up when the Land Use chapter hits the table matters more this week.
Engage Talbot’s notice invites residents to the next Comprehensive Plan work session on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Talbot County Community Center Wye Oak Room. The Planning Commission will review and discuss the first draft of the Land Use chapter. Engage says the draft chapter is available on the platform under Documents, and it posts a Teams livestream link for remote viewing.
That is a different public record from last week’s reminder that written comments remain open. This is a dated work session with a named chapter. If you care where growth goes, which corridors intensify, or which farms stay farms, read the draft before Monday and either take a seat or watch the stream.
This is not an endorsement of any paragraph in that draft. It is a nudge to use the session the county itself just posted.
